expandir el sector y posicionar al pa\u00eds caribe\u00f1o como un destino atractivo, durante un encuentro en Madrid con el director Regional para las Am\u00e9ricas del organismo, Gustavo Santos.<\/p>\n<p>La cita, dada a conocer por la Canciller\u00eda en un comunicado, tuvo lugar en el marco de la 43 edici\u00f3n de la Feria Internacional de Turismo (Fitur) 2023, que se celebrar\u00e1 en Espa\u00f1a entre el 18 y 22 de enero con la participaci\u00f3n de 8.500 empresas, 131 pa\u00edses y 755 expositores.<\/p>\n<p>El ministro de Turismo, Al\u00ed Padr\u00f3n, quien encabez\u00f3 la delegaci\u00f3n venezolana, inform\u00f3 en su cuenta en Twitter que la reuni\u00f3n sirvi\u00f3 para\u00a0<strong>alcanzar \u00abacuerdos preliminares para restablecer los plenos derechos de Venezuela ante la OMT y dise\u00f1ar una hoja de ruta para trabajo conjunto<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Santos expuso su \u00absatisfacci\u00f3n por el fortalecimiento del turismo en Venezuela\u00bb y apunt\u00f3 \u00abla importancia de la recuperaci\u00f3n de la actividad tur\u00edstica para promover la innovaci\u00f3n y la profesionalizaci\u00f3n del sector\u00bb, seg\u00fan la Canciller\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La cartera de Estado explic\u00f3 que la delegaci\u00f3n que participar\u00e1 en la Fitur busca posicionar a Venezuela \u00abcomo un destino atractivo para los turistas europeos\u00bb, crear nuevas alianzas comerciales con operadores tur\u00edsticos y promover las potencialidades para el turismo y comercio exterior, \u00aba trav\u00e9s de la conexi\u00f3n
