aviar en las zonas fronterizas.<\/p>\n<p>En la provincia de Jujuy, Argentina se detect\u00f3 un caso de gripe aviar, informaron fuentes oficiales.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u201cLa confirmaci\u00f3n del ingreso del virus en el pa\u00eds nos pone m\u00e1s en alerta, pero no nos sorprende\u201c, asegur\u00f3 el secretario de Agricultura de Argentina,\u00a0<strong>Juan Jos\u00e9 Bahillo,<\/strong>\u00a0en una rueda de prensa en Buenos Aires.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El funcionario se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el primer caso de este virus en el pa\u00eds procede de un ave silvestre encontrada en la Laguna de Pozuelos, por lo que adelant\u00f3 que se reforzar\u00e1n los controles dedicando especial atenci\u00f3n a las granjas de producci\u00f3n av\u00edcola.<\/p>\n<p>Uruguay, tambi\u00e9n fronterizo con Argentina, decret\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles la emergencia sanitaria en su territorio por la detecci\u00f3n de un caso de gripe aviar en la Laguna Garz\u00f3n, ubicada en el sureste del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>El pasado 8 de febrero, la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) advirti\u00f3 por medio de un comunicado oficial sobre la propagaci\u00f3n de esta enfermedad en mam\u00edferos en diferentes regiones del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>La influenza aviar afecta principalmente a las aves dom\u00e9sticas y se clasifica en dos subtipos en funci\u00f3n de dos prote\u00ednas de superficie y es considerada altamente mortal, de acuerdo con la OMS.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter
