de prevenci\u00f3n y seguridad mantienen un despliegue permanente ante el incremento del caudal del r\u00edo Orinoco, que mantiene la zona en alerta.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eLa labor, dirigida por el alcalde Sergio Hern\u00e1ndez con el respaldo de la Gobernaci\u00f3n y el poder popular, incluye recorridos diarios por sectores urbanos y rurales afectados, brindando apoyo social y de salud a las comunidades m\u00e1s vulnerables para garantizar atenci\u00f3n oportuna.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eEl director municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, Manuel Rodr\u00edguez, inform\u00f3 que desde los primeros d\u00edas de la alerta se activaron equipos de monitoreo en zonas cr\u00edticas como La Toma, El Ed\u00e9n, Argelia Ist\u00fariz, El Algarrobo, Perro Seco, Hip\u00f3dromo Viejo y La Shell, entre gesti\u00f3n municipal, se han impulsado pol\u00edticas que han fortalecido la cultura de prevenci\u00f3n, permitiendo respuestas r\u00e1pidas y efectivas ante emergencias.<br>\u200e<br>\u200ePor su parte, el director de Seguridad Ciudadana, Henry Dur\u00e1n, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que los equipos operan las 24 horas del d\u00eda para actuar con eficacia ante cualquier eventualidad. \u201cEl Orinoco se
